Account Executive

General Purpose of Position
An account executive at HMS will represent our home warranty products in an assigned territory. Candidate will be responsible for marketing to real estate, mortgage, and title companies in an outside sales environment. Strong sales experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and presentation skills necessary. Experience in real estate, insurance or title is preferred. Territory has an existing account base. Travel within the territory required. Employee will be responsible for maintaining and increasing existing book of business as well as developing new accounts. Compensation includes base, commission, expenses, and benefits.
Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for maintenance of current accounts in designated sales area
Employee responsible for development of growth in existing accounts and business in assigned territory
Promote and educate real estate agents and clients on the benefits of HMS Warranty
Responsible for stocking offices within territory with brochures and other marketing collateral
Assisting our real estate agents and clients with questions or inquiries regarding their customers
Education/Experience/Other Requirements
Be energetic and self-motivated
Experience in outside sales and B2B business development preferred
Have the ability to establish and maintain relationships with real estate brokers and agents
Strong presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with equally good listening and opportunity qualification skills
1-3 years of proven sales experience selling into the Real Estate sector working with a wide range of business partners
An overall passion for sales within a home service environment and for the business value it drives.
College or university degree preferred
Be willing to travel within assigned territory
