Structuring and Pricing Analyst

A key Optimus Client is seeking an Analyst in Structures & Pricing to join their team.

Main
Responsibilities:
Support deal pipeline by constructing revenue curves, conducting deal modeling, structuring, valuation, and other Structures & Pricing tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accurately value and represent assets, Power Purchase Agreements, and other structures.
Contribute to the development and refinement of the structured renewable power model library.
Ensure revenue curve and structured deal valuation aligns with the organization's power market view in coordination with Term Trading and Structured Trading teams.
Work with the ETRM team to ensure proper booking and representation of signed contracts.
Follow internal processes and guidelines for model validation and risk estimation in collaboration with the Risk Management team.
Develop a strong understanding of US power markets, with a focus on PJM and CAISO, and stay updated on commercial impacts affecting the organization's business.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of relevant work experience in the energy industry, preferably in structures, pricing, origination, or risk management.
Knowledge of US power markets, with a preference for experience in PJM and CAISO, and familiarity with other markets.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills for deal modeling, valuation, and revenue curve construction.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, R, MATLAB, C/C++, or VBA.
Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Science, Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
Master's degree in related areas preferred.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
