Sr. Middle Office Analyst, Natural Gas

We are seeking a strong Sr.
Middle Office Analyst to join their risk & controls team to focus on reporting the trade activity around physical and financial natural gas trading.
Role is in the office 3 days/week with a condensed 9/80 schedule.
Position
Responsibilities:
Delivering daily reports calculating MTM and Position Identifying, calculating and reporting factors impacting portfolio value and position change Monitor control policies for the portfolio as well as authority limit and other exposures Developing and reporting on MTM versus actualized profitability and its change or variance components Assist accounting and other teams as necessary to ensure proper invoicing, trade settlement and performance forecasting Assist in reconciling intercompany transactions and structured deals across books as necessary Experience and Requirements:
Expertise in Natural Gas transactions including financial, physical, structured transactions, transportation and storage Risk reporting and/or MTM accounting including significant exposure to both physical and financial transactions Flash to Actual or other variance analysis for energy commodity trading and marketing Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar discipline MS Excel required and experience with Business Objects and Access a plus Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Tagged:
